ALMC Stages Rally - 18th July 2010
DEAR HOUSEHOLDER,
On behalf of ALMC we thank you for the time you have taken to read this notice.
Together with our sponsor, City North Hotel and with the support of Meath County Council, Fingal County Council and Garda Divisions, we propose to host the ALMC Stages Rally, which is also a counting round of the Midlands East Rally Championship, Mitsubishi EVO Challenge, MSA BTRDA Asphalt Rally Championship in your area on Sunday, July 18th 2010.
The road passing your home ( or you may be close to a junction where it passes ) will be closed on Sunday, 18th July, at varying times, - depending which stage you live on - to enable a competitive Special Stage of the event to take place.
In the coming months, we will be submitting our road closing application to the County Secretaries of Meath and Fingal County Councils. Upon granting of the order, the road upon which you live will be closed to all traffic in order for the rally to pass. Each resident who lives on the closed road will have been given one of these notices for information, together with details of the specific times of road closure and your location details from our safety plan.
However, if you know of someone else who uses the road for access purposes only, could you please tell them of the closure or failing this, pass these details on to the person(s) named below. Please inform milk rounds-men or any delivery or collection vehicles that may be scheduled to visit your home at that time and date.
In the event of an emergency or if you have special requirements for access/exit from the stage on that date, we will do everything within our power to accommodate you. A map outlining the stage start will be with the Garda Division Stations. If an emergency occurs at your home during the hours of road closure, we would ask you to deal with the emergency in your normal way either contacting the service required direct or dial 999.
A reconnaissance will take place on Saturday - 17th July, the day before the rally. This should cause no disruption to you as the road will remain open as normal during the reconnaissance period and will only cause a slight increase in traffic on the road and normal traffic regulations will apply. Personnel from the Motor Club and Garda will monitor this reconnaissance and should you experience any difficulty during those days, please contact the number listed below with as much detail as possible.

If any member of your family over 18 years of age would like to assist on marshalling this stage, please write to the Event Secretary at the above address, as we will be only too pleased to have your assistance.
